Joint visit of the Edutus University and the Hungarian Education Authority in Ningbo (China)

The delegation of Edutus University (Dr. Gábor Szaniszló, Dr. Zoltán Peredy, Mrs. Márta Bognárné Pongrácz and Mr. Huang Jungfei) participated in the last year was invited by the Education Office of Ningbo City Municipality and Ningbo University of Technology (NBUT) to the 8th China-CEEC Events on Education Cooperation and Exchanges International Conference, resulting establishment promising partnerships with several Chinese universities and the Municipal Government of Ningbo City. As a next step, another visit to China took place this year between May 22, 2024 and May 31.2024, where Dr. Renáta Vanó, Vice President for Higher Education (Hungarian Education Authority) joined the unchanged composition Edutus University delegation. Our joint delegation participated in several conferences (9th Annual China-CEEC Higher Education Institute-Industry Cooperation and Conference in Ningbo; Zhejiang-Hungary University Cooperation Matchmaking Conference; Zhejiang-CEEC Think Tank Alliance 2nd Annual Conference). Their focus was the new digital technological, teaching methodological solutions, as well as mapping out strategic cooperation opportunities. In the course of these events, the situation of Hungarian Higher Education System and the Edutus University from international perspectives presented. Furthermore, we succeeded in deepening and expanding our relations with Chinese partner universities, creating the basis for the further expansion of Edutus University’s international training programs.
