Edutus University Hungarian Science Celebration 2024 Conference November 21, 2024.

In the Academic Year 2024-2025, inside the Hungarian Science Celebration Conference (MTÜ) series, the Edutus University organised this outstanding event in the venue of our new Budapest Campus (BFI Office Building, H-1119 Budapest, Fehérvári út 84/a, 2. floor) on November 21, 2024.

This International Conference is aiming to provide a scientific professional meeting forum for the different theoretical and practical experts representing different fields of social and engineering sciences. Furthermore also offers unique opportunity to present the results of different interdisciplinary research works for Teaching Staff Members, Company Professionals and PhD. Students and MSc. Students as well. As a University of Applied Sciences, we put a lot of emphasis on strengthening the cooperation between actors of academic and business sectors. In addition, we are also happy to see different economic actors among our speakers and in our audience.

The thematic recommendation proposed by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (HASc) for this year was “Scientific consultancy in the service of society”, so we organized the program of our conference (topics of the lectures of the plenary part, as well as the titles and lectures of the different afternoon sessions) accordingly.

In this Academic Year, the decisive novelty of the program put together by the Organizing Committee (led by Vice-Chancellor Dr. László Vígh, with the assistance of Dr. Gábor Wirth and Dr. Zoltán Peredy) was getting involved of foreign speakers from different countries in the plenary session and – in addition to the three other domestic sections – in the framework of a separate, established, English-language international section as well. The foreign speakers – increased the added value of the conference – also contributed to the success of Edutus University’s international networking efforts.

It was positive development that the Edutus MTÜ2024 Conference was held with great interest. The event also offered for the speakers unique opportunity to publish their research work in several domestic and international journals. In addition, it is expected that a special conference issue of Acta Periodica, the scientific journal of Edutus University, may be published in the first quarter of 2025. The Edutus MTÜ2024 Conference, organized in a good atmosphere, was considered interesting and forward-looking by all participants (speakers and audience).
